Start with a usable representative directory.
A rep directory should answer practical questions quickly: who covers this territory, how do we contact them, and which buyer link should they use? Keep names, email addresses, phone numbers and territory information together so the team can find the right person.
SHOWROOM4K lets a brand maintain representative records and attributed buyer links. Territories describe the coverage your team agrees on. They are not a substitute for your sales agreement or an automatic rule that resolves every account-ownership question.
Preserve the representative on the buyer’s path.
Use the representative’s attributed showroom or presentation link when introducing a buyer to a collection. When an order is submitted through that path, the saved representative association helps the brand understand who handled the relationship.
Check attribution with a sample order before distributing links widely. Make sure your team agrees which link belongs to each rep, and keep contact information current when territory assignments change. Clear setup prevents confusion later.
Separate a contact record from account access.
Adding a representative’s details makes that person visible in the directory; it does not automatically give them permission to enter the brand dashboard. Dashboard access is managed through brand invitations and membership.
An invited representative can work with the brands that grant them access. Each brand keeps a separate workspace and its own catalog and order records. This matters for independent representatives who work with several lines and need to keep those businesses distinct.
Equip reps with a selection they can explain.
A focused presentation makes a better follow-up when the rep already knows what the buyer needs. Choose products for a season, store type or specific discussion, add the collection context, and share the buyer link.
The buyer can revisit the products and build an order through the same experience. The brand’s office receives the saved order, and the rep association provides context for the follow-up. The next action is easier to understand when the collection, buyer and order belong to the same workflow.
Use attribution as a record, then apply your business rules.
Representative attribution helps organize an order, but it is not the same as calculating or paying commission. Your commission agreement may depend on shipped sales, collected payments, returns, territory exceptions or split accounts. Confirm that process separately.
During the demo, bring a typical rep-to-buyer conversation and an example of how the resulting order reaches your office. Walk through the directory, attributed link and order record. Any commission automation, accounting connection or specialized sales workflow should be confirmed before it becomes part of a rollout.
Invited sales representatives do not require a separate paid seat under the current Brand Pro founding offer.
Common questions
Can a representative access multiple brands?
Yes, when each brand invites them. Access remains scoped to the brands that have granted membership.
Does adding an email address send a representative an invitation?
No. Saving a directory contact and granting dashboard access are separate actions. Use the brand invitation workflow when access is needed.
Does order attribution automatically pay commission?
No. Attribution records the representative associated with the order. Commission calculation and payment must follow your separately confirmed business process.
